Poster Board Abstract Presenters have been allocated to one of the Congress days above and are expected to be present at their Poster Board throughout the duration of that day, in particular during tea / coffee and lunch breaks. Please refer to your Notification of Acceptance Letter sent via email for individual details.

Visibility for presenting authors is important to the E-AHPBA 2025 Scientific Programme Committee. By displaying your poster at your board, you will have the chance to be nominated for a short presentation during our interactive poster walks led by experts in the field. Showcase your work, create discussions, answer questions and connect with fellow delegates during the Congress breaks.

Please bring your Poster to the Exhibition Area at the appropriate assembly time where the equipment and information will be provided on the location for you to hang your Poster. Please ensure you remove your Poster within the applicable dismantle period, E-AHPBA 2025 cannot be held responsible for Posters which are not collected during the dismantle times.

Each Poster board Abstract Presenter is responsible for printing their Poster and bringing it to the Congress. Please make sure to label your poster with your Poster Presentation Code included in your Notification Letter to ensure it is easily identifiable at the Congress venue.

If you would prefer to print your Poster in Dublin for ease when travelling, printing facilities are available and will be delivered to the Congress venue. You can order via the online form detailed below, please make sure to include your Poster Presentation Code when ordering.

In order to efficiently communicate the results of your research to the viewers, you are requested to pay particular attention to the instructions outlined below:

  • The dimensions of your Poster should be in the A0 Paper Size Format which is equivalent to 84.1 cm x 118.9 cm, 33.1 inches x 46.8 inches or 841 mm x 1189 mm (see sample below).

  • Avoid putting too much material and text on the Poster.

  • The heading should have letters at least 1.25 inches listing the title of the paper, authors, institution and its location. If necessary, please shorten the heading. The board of your poster will be numbered, and viewers will find your Poster according to the title of your submitted abstract and number as stated in the final programme.

  • Lettering for text and illustrations should be at least 0.5 inches high.

  • Divide your Poster into sections, typically: Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusions. Each of these sections should be numbered in sequence with numbers 1.25 inches high to guide the reader through the Poster.

  • The introduction should contain 3 to 5 telegraphic sentences outlining essential information necessary to understand the study and why it was done.

  • The objectives of the study, the questions to be asked or the hypothesis to be tested should be clearly stated in as few words as possible.

  • Outline your methods briefly, provide reference to previous methods and details only for new methods or important modifications of older ones.

  • Results should be presented as graphs or tables. They should be self-explanatory and please provide a clear legend including symbols. You may also want to provide an interpretation of the results below each panel.

  • The discussion (if necessary) and conclusions should be succinctly stated on large type. Many viewers read this first, hence it should be easy to understand.

  • Please include a photograph of the presenting author and a contact email address on your Poster.
